Total Immersion Swimming announces launch of new website, www.totalimmersion.net.
New Paltz, NY – April 28, 2008 – Total Immersion Swimming has announced that it will be launching a completely reconstructed website in July of 2008. The new site is the culmination of over a year of design and redesign, as Total Immersion and their web team, the Evolving Media Network, painstakingly pored over the details to make the new site the most comprehensive wellspring of information available on the topic of swimming- improvement. The site features many new components, including a blog for every certified Total Immersion Coach (including Head Coach, Terry Laughlin), an events calendar, and a search engine that allows users to sort through the entire contents of the site in an instant.
Total Immersion Swimming recognizes that students benefit immensely from visual learning and consequently has substantially increased video functionality in the design of the new site. All DVDs that are sold on the site will now have trailers accompanying them to help users select which one best fits their needs and users can keep abreast of the latest updates from TI HQ via an enhanced multi-media e-zine and regular text, audio and video posts on Terry Laughlin’s personal blog.
Many popular components of the old site are still available to users, but with enhanced performance and simplicity. The TI Discussion Forum has received an impressive facelift and will now feature sections in which users can comment on their favorite coach blogs and Total Swim E-Zine articles. Purchasing products and registering for workshops on the TI site will also be easier and faster than ever before thanks to a dramatically improved, cutting-edge Online Store. As always, swimming enthusiasts will delight in the enormous wealth of free information, as Total Immersion continues in its mission to enrich as many lives as possible by improving the way swimming is taught and practiced, and to make the experience of swimming more accessible, enjoyable and satisfying for all.
